SoftHubTools (softhubtools.com) is a free website about AI tools and online work. It is run by Walid Ayari. You can reach us at contact@softhubtools.com.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, who can see it, and what choices you have. We do not sell products or take payments on this site.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting and analytics tools record technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the website that sent you to us. We use Google Analytics (through the Google tag and the Site Kit plugin) and Jetpack Stats (a service from WordPress.com) to understand which pages people read. We use this to improve our guides.

Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you.

Email updates. If you subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address. The subscription is handled by Jetpack (WordPress.com / Automattic), which sends you our new posts. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and website you enter (the website is optional), your comment, and your IP address. Your name and comment may be shown publicly. Your email address is not shown. Avatar pictures are loaded from Gravatar.

Post ratings. Some posts let readers rate the post with stars. The rating tool may use a cookie or similar identifier to stop repeat votes.

Videos. Some posts show YouTube videos. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information under its own policy.

Fonts. Our pages may load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download them.

• To run the site and keep it secure, and to block spam.
• To understand which guides are useful and to improve them.
• To answer messages and send updates you asked for.
• To meet legal duties.

We and our service providers use cookies and similar tools for the purposes above. Read more in our Cookie Policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can use Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking some cookies may change how parts of the site work.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one, the company we link to may set its own cookie so it can tell that you came from us. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, for example:

• our web hosting provider;
• Google (analytics, fonts, YouTube, and spam protection such as reCAPTCHA);
• Automattic (Jetpack, WordPress.com, Gravatar);
• Cloudflare, where its spam protection is used;
• our email provider, when we receive your messages.

We may also share information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, they use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We keep messages for as long as needed to answer you and keep simple records, then delete them. Comments stay until they are deleted. Email subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics service.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to your information, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, to take it with you, and to withdraw consent. Residents of some US states have similar rights, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. To use any right, email contact@softhubtools.com. We will reply within the time the law requires. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

This site is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as keeping software updated. No website can be completely secure.

Our guides link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top when we do. Please check this page from time to time.
